This 6 week class is designed to teach students how to worship God through music. The emphasis is on playing solo for MiniChurch, Children’s Church or small group.
Students learn the definition of worship in comparison to performing. Beginning with easy to learn songs to more complicated pieces, students learn to play guitar friendly keys.
The goals of this class are for each student to learn proper chording technique and basic strumming patterns (e.g. emphasizing bass note first). CD with over 15 worship songs is provided to help students with practicing. Each student’s skill level will improve over time with commitment and practice.

You will need to bring your own guitar and music stand. Children under 10 years of age must attend class with a parent.
