I think women pose most of the problem...80% of it. Most christian women allow their views of relationships to be influenced by the world. They need to choose one way. This may be hard for some to accept but let the woman with wisdom see the truth... The thing they tend to do is they want a guy to chase them before they would even go out to dinner with them or do anything basically.I think that sets everything up for failure.I'll never chase a girl just to hang out or be 'normal' friends if I dont know her or her character. How would I know you are not a wolf in sheep's clothing if I dont get close enough to know you in some way. To see someone and just go after her is worldly and lustful. So a good christian lady should not take a guy who does that seriously.Anyway, this is coming from an old-fashioned and biblical kind of guy.Probably one of the reasons I'm still not married.Bottom line;christians should stop acting worldly in the courts of G-d who is in Heaven. Lastly cannot criticize without giving the correct choice. Ladies, position yourself to be seen yes.Be a woman but dont forget who you are...a child of God...that is if you are truly saved and you TRULY know him. Being a woman ends on earth;in eternity there will be no male or female.Know what is in your heart and the weaknesses.Remember you cant be stronger than the first woman...Eve;and you know she fell to the devil. Know what a good man is and value that...dont cut his legs off because only a foolish woman tears down her own house(Proverbs). Guys, quit being a push over and be a man.Respect women and know how to identify the virtuous one from the jezebel and those inbetween who need guidance.Master your sexual drives or they will master and enslave you. Dont sell your birthright; be the leader of your house in example and love.Just make sure you dont choose beauty over character...and of course you have to have good character yourself for you to value it in a woman.Let the church say amen...

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed this blog. Shouldn't stereotype (especially among Christians-Chyna Phillips once said that she didn't think she could be one because she wasn't "good" enough, and found out that's exactly the opposite of what God wants) but I shied away from Christian single groups thinking the people would be straitlaced and judgmental but if they can enjoy this page, (to me a sense of humor is VERY important) I'll go!!

Dear Mr. Sanchez, as a fairly new believer this article really opened my eyes to what might be going on in my own life right now. I really have a better understanding now to so many things that have been confusing over the past two years. If there is any way possible I would like to e-mail you with some questions I have if that's okay? Thanks so much for writing this. It truly was a blessing.

You mentioned"You don’t tell each other how you feel… until there is a commitment." But how could I make a commitment to someone when I'm not sure how the person feels towards me..and I just wanna say again that this was well written and I've never heard another christian ministry speak about relationship with such high standards. I would like to applaud you for that. Many times I go around telling and explaining to people that I don't date and they ask well how will you get married? I'm so tired of that question. Also you make it sound so easy because even though a group of us would go out on a raisin there will always be tht one person you give extra attn. I just need to pray more I guess to be able to treat everyone equally.. :)

This was so funny. It was easy to read and understand. I love the ways a brother can get a wife. As for me, I will water my father's flock and mayb my Jacob will arrive. :)
